Manchester City Recycling LogoSo recycling is just too much effort for you?

Well we say shame on you! Not only do we believe its an essential part of a modern civilised world, we also think it's easy and even saves you money.

Did you know: 1 recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power a 60-watt light bulb for 3 hours. Or 18 hours if you use a modern energy efficient bulb!

Well we dont want to preach to you too much so here is a list of really useful links to information and services that will make it so easy, you'll wonder why you didnt start sooner;

Manchester City Council: A-Z Services

Bring It: Recycling Locations in Manchester

FreeCycle: Give your unwanted goods a new hom

Reuseit: Similar to FreeCycle

RealCycle Manchester: Local Branch of thriving recycle

For the more slightly more devoted anti-corporate environmentalist in you, go take a look at Bonfire Of The Brands and of course the international Buy Nothing Day campaign. This years Buy Nothin Day has now gone but its still an interesting idea: Anti Marketing Marketing?
